DUCK KEY FLORIDA HOTEL - The sole hotel on Duck Key is the fabulous Hawks Cay Resort and Marina. Hawks Cay is the largest combined resort and hotel in all of the Keys. The resort has a 170 plus room hotel and also is the agent for hundreds of villa units at Hawks Cay Village. The hotel and villas are located on 60 acres of tropical grounds.

The island community of Duck Key in the Florida Keys is located at mile marker 61 off the Overseas Highway in the Florida Keys. The Hawk's Cay Resort and Village can be seen in the foreground (note the blue roofs of the Inn and the oval salt water lagoon).

 

In 2009 the hotel, Hawks Cay, was rated one of the "Top 50 Resorts in the US & Canada" by readers of Travel + Leisure Magazine. The private-island resort was named second in Florida and rated #32 among the top resorts in the US & Canada.

Hawks Cay, a destination luxury resort, has all the amenities on site one could imagine. The resort offers a dolphin experience, water sports, tennis, spa facility, teen club, children's program with fun activities, sailing, Offshore Sailing School, boating, snorkel tours, scuba diving, scuba lessons, parasailing, fishing charters, several restaurants and bars plus four pools and a salt water lagoon.

DUCK KEY HOTEL CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS

Hawks Cay Resort is one of two resorts in the Florida Keys which offers a children's program. Hawks Cay's size enables the hotel to offer an extensive program. There is is Pirate Ship Pool and water playground for young children. The hotel offering includes an adventurous experience for all ages with Camp Hawk (5 – 12) The Cove for “tweens” (9 – 12) and Aqua Jam (12 – 17). Aqua Jam is a three-day camp for teens offering a wet-and-wild adventure where campers explore the waters of the Florida Keys by kayaking, snorkeling, sailing, and fishing.

Duck Key Vacation Rental only provides villas. For a room at the hotel you must use the first link. Villas meet standards established by Hawks Cay, but furnishings, etc. are not identical as in a "preferred" Villa. Rates for Vacation Rental villas will be less than a comparable size preferred villa.
