The Florida Keys and its reefs are visited by more snorkelers and divers than any other place in the world. Hundreds of varieties of fish and more than 50 species of coral have been identified in the Keys reef system.
THE SNORKEL CENTER

THE SNORKEL CENTER located at Hawk's Cay Marina offers onsite snorkeling, snorkeling reef tours, glassbottom boat tours and sailing excursions. Snorkeling for kids on site, snorkeling excursions to the reef, glasssbottom boats tours on the Osprey. Sail aboard the "Horizon", a 40 foot sailing catamaran, to view spectacular Florida Keys Sunsets. If you know how to swim snorkeling shouldn't be a problem. The right size mask and snorkel tube are essential to a successful trip.

The Snorkel Center on Duck Key is the island headquarters for Snorkeling, Sailing, Sunset cruises and glassbottom boat tours. Located at the Hawk's Cay marina docks, the Snorkel Center is less than a two minute walk from resort rooms at the Hawk's Cay Inn and villas at Hawk's Cay Village and about a fifteen minute drive from Islamorada or Marathon.

TILDEN SCUBA DIVE CENTER
The TILDEN SCUBA DIVE CENTER located at the Hawks Cay Marina in the Florida Keys will take you to a number of great dive spots for experienced scuba divers. The Dive Center provides gear for its snorkel trips and has a number of scuba courses to satisfy individual needs. Many prime dive spots are easily reached from Hawk's Cay. First time divers will be in awe at the aquatic beauty of the coral reef, the ocean's equivalent of the tropical rain forest. The waters abound with parrot fish, yellow tail, sergeant majors, jacks and angel fish. One of nature's wonders the coral reef of the Florida Keys is a national treasure.

Resort Discover Scuba

Orientation followed by underwater Scuba experience in the pool and tour of reef with certified instructor

Open Water Certification

Five to Seven day PADI course . All inclusive consisting of classroom, pool sessions and four open water dives. Requires a current physical and doctor's approval.

Open Water Check-out Dive

Finish scuba certification with four required open water certification dives

Scuba Refresher

Practice diving in pool and two coral reef dives. Gear and current certification card required.

Advanced Open Water Course

Three to five day course. Gear and study material included plus two additional open water dives. Open water certification and 25 logged dives required.
