what's a snow ball? A snow ball is made with shaved
ice as opposed to a snow cone which uses crushed ice.
Tiki
Beach Snowballs sells 32 flavors of snowballs for just
$1 each (10 ounce size). Tiki Beach Snowballs
specializes in cream flavors. Adding cream, actually
half and half, gives the snowball a different yet
great flavor for the taste buds. Flavors having Keysy
names include Purple Porpoisee, Sunset Celebration,
Kold Kiss, Tan Fanny, Caribbean Snow, Beach Bum,
Snorkleberry, Scub-anelo, and of course Miami Ice. The
adult snowball fan also has a choice of old-fashioned
Egg Custard and Whiskey Sour among the many flavors.
Tiki Beach Snowballs is open 2: 30 to 7 PM Monday
through Friday. Saturdays hours are 11 AM to 7 PM.
Closed on Sundays. This is a fun place for the kids

is located in the Tradewinds Plaza at 101491Oversea

mainly for its dinner menu and a favorite of locals
for breakfast and lunch, it is the only place serving
ice cream in the evening. If your looking for
reasonable dinner prices or ice cream after the
Marathon Movie this is the place to go.

cream and frozen yogurt. Dip N' Deli is known for it's
home cooked meals more than for its ice-cream. Very
popular with locals and the meal prices are right.

are several places to satisfy the youngsters'
appetites when they start that " I scream for ice
cream " chant while travelling down the Overseas
Highway in the Florida Keys. Ice cream is also a good
reward when the children have behaved well and there
have been no sibling disputes in the the back seat of
the family vehicle. There are a number of places to go
in the Florida Keys if the kids yearn for ice cream. A
local place to dine but not for ice cream is the Dairy
Bar in Grassy Key. For years people have stopped at
the Dairy Bar which had ice cream ornamentation
outside its restaurant that was easily visible along
US 1, only to be told the Dairy Bar no longer sold ice
cream. The ice ornamentation was remove in 2000
