L
LIBRARIES
Does your child have a library card? Trips to the library can help children realize the benefits of reading, written communication, and research as essential life skills. The library is the " ultimate search engine" and a place for children to realize the value of using books and other sources of print material.
Young people over 14 years of age may have their own cards. Under 14 years, children who can write their names may have their own cards but must have them signed by a parent or legal guardian who is responsible for materials borrowed.
