Since its founding in 1989, thousands of children and families have received services from Florida Keys Children's Shelter, Inc. Available to children and families in distress are emergency shelter, short term shelter, community-based counseling, and 24-hour crisis intervention services.

Florida State Inquiries: http://www.floridakidcare.org -1-888-540-5437 or 1-888-540-KIDS are eligible for low-cost or free health care coverage. Parents need to take the first step and enroll them in Florida KidCare. Florida KidCare provides participating children with regular checkups, prescription drugs, hospitalization and immunizations, plus vision services, care for special conditions such as asthma, and more.

Founded in 1987, KISS Trust Inc. operates in the Upper & Middle Florida Keys, helping needy children, mostly at Christmas and throughout the year. KISS relies strictly on private donations and does not receive grants from federal or state sources. KISS does not directly solicit funds from individuals, by phone or in businesses.
